There are numerous covenants in the Hebrew Bible, but only one Torah.
Ok, so they HAD it; but what GOOD has it done them?
What good has it done them? What kind of question is that? One doesn't obey G-d for what one can get out of it. Obeying G-d is an end in and of itself.
