The know rate of genetic mutations
generating various traits and diseases
would be difficult to explain over a
less than 10,000 year interval

Would seem more likely that the Genesis story
is a data point in a continuum,
instead of a origination point of an entire species

Call me a skeptic (along with C.S. Lewis and Tolkien)
that the Genesis story might be better described as
“True Myth”
