My wife is from Mexico — even through we are not Catholic, we are getting flowers for our statue of Our Lady today.
I was at the Basilica in Mexico City the week that the Pope John Paul canonized Juan Diego. That was interesting and historic, as you can imagine.

You are not Catholic, yet have a statue of Our Lady? That's cool.:) I'm always encouraging other faiths to
recite the Rosary, for it was not intended for Catholics only, and it can only serve to strengthen the bond between mother and child. Mary loves us all so very much ... P.S. Do you have any photos from the Basilica when Juan Diego was canonized?
