He convinced me. But to be frank, I had a problem with what I was being taught to believe during my entire Christian walk (since 1981) because it never really washed with the personality of the God of the bible.
Trouble is, you can find anything to support your position in the Bible. Hell is quite different than what modern people think both in the original Hebrew/Israelite understanding and in the NT Greek.
Catholics are closer by far to the correct meaning/understanding than Protestants.
