Why Does God Allow Christians to Suffer?

And ALL othes are exempt?

Get real ... it's more about how you handle it (accept it, work though it, open the dialog with God etc b/c it too is part of life here on earth) ...

I agree - everyone suffers in some degree or another. My Dad used to say “Nobody goes through life unscathed.” Some are better at hiding it than others. Our attitude does determine our altitude in that sense. Who wouldn't serve a God who promised only good things all the time - like Santa Claus? God is glorified by those who continue in their faith despite suffering and God promises to always be with us until the ends of the earth.
