Our God of Love and Grace,

'I will Praise Thee, O Lord my God, with All mine Heart: yea, I will Glorify Thy Name Forevermore. For Great is Thy Mercy Toward me: and Thou hast Delivered my Soul from the Lowest Hell.' (Ps.86:12,13) 'Who is So Great a God as our God! Thou art the God that Doest Wonders; Thou hast Declared Thy Power Among the People. Thou hast Redeemed Thy People with Thine Arm.' (Ps.77:13-15) Thank You for Saving us, our Lord of Everlasting Grace.

Your Majesty, we Lift Up our Awesome, Great Troops. May Jesus be the Savior and Shepherd of Every Man. May Your Love and Your Kindness Fill and Overflow Each Life. We Ask for Thy Healing Hand to be with the Wounded of Fort Hood. May the Families of those who were Slain be Surrounded with Your Comfort and Peace. Please Bring them Strength from Heaven, Lord, and Rest their Dear Hearts. 'My Hope is in Him. He is my Strength and my Salvation, and my Defense: therefore I shall not be Moved. In God is my Salvation and my Glory, the Rock of my Strength; in God is my Trust.' (Ps.62:5-7)

Thank You, Loving Lord, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. You are our Life, Lord Jesus, and All our Hope is in Thee. 'All the World shall Worship Thee, and Sing unto Thee, even Sing of Thy Name. Sing Forth the Glory of His Name: Make His Praise Glorious.' (Ps.66:4,2) 'Blessed is His Name Forever and Ever.' (Ps.113:2) For the Glory of Heaven's King, we Praise and Magnify You God, amen.

Our Faithful God, we thank You for all the grace, mercy, and peace from You the Father and from Jesus Christ, Your Son, that is with us in truth and love. Help this Nation to know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for our sake He became poor, so that we through His poverty might become rich. Please help us Lord to continually discover the riches of Christ in our lives. Amen

The Persecuted Church
If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. —1 Peter 4:16

One October morning in 2006, a woman and her six children were forced to witness an attack on their husband and father. His assailants tried to force him to deny Jesus but he refused. He continued to proclaim Christ as Lord and died praying for his family. The family is determined to follow Christ, even in their grief.

Another man was sentenced to 3 years in prison for allegedly insulting another religion. He’s an outspoken Christian with a passion for Christ. He and his wife and children continue to be faithful and refuse to deny Him.

Persecution for the Christian faith is as real in our world as it was for the Jewish believers in the early church to whom Peter wrote. He prayed, “May the God of all grace, . . . after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you” (1 Peter 5:10).

Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. These prayer points from Open Doors USA, a ministry that’s committed to encouraging persecuted Christians, can help guide us as we pray:

• Pray for the safety and faith of the secret believers in countries where it is illegal to share about Christ.

• Pray for the health, perseverance, and encouragement of believers who are imprisoned for the gospel.

• Pray that those whose loved ones have died due to martyrdom will rely on God for their strength.

Together, let’s bring our fellow believers before the Lord in prayer.

The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church. —Tertullian

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!

Dear God, who suffered
torment, agony and death upon the Cross
to free our souls from the chains of iniquity;
protect and defend our troops. Guide them in
the performance of their duties. Strengthen
them to endure hardship, danger and depri-
vation in Your service. Let their efforts free
the people of Iraq and Afghanistan from the
chains of terror and slavery, foster a lasting
peace in the region, and bring all to a greater
share in Your Mercy.
Amen.

AMEN DEAREST SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

“As ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord.”
- Colossians 2:6

The life of faith is represented as receiving-an act which implies the
very opposite of anything like merit. It is simply the acceptance of a
gift. As the earth drinks in the rain, as the sea receives the streams, as
night accepts light from the stars, so we, giving nothing, partake freely
of the grace of God. The saints are not, by nature, wells, or streams,
they are but cisterns into which the living water flows; they are empty
vessels into which God pours his salvation. The idea of receiving implies
a sense of realization, making the matter a reality. One cannot very well
receive a shadow; we receive that which is substantial: so is it in the
life of faith, Christ becomes real to us. While we are without faith,
Jesus is a mere name to us-a person who lived a long while ago, so long
ago that his life is only a history to us now! By an act of faith Jesus
becomes a real person in the consciousness of our heart. But receiving
also means grasping or getting possession of. The thing which I receive
becomes my own: I appropriate to myself that which is given.
When I receive Jesus, he becomes my Saviour, so mine that neither life
nor death shall be able to rob me of him.
All this is to receive Christ-to take him as God’s free gift; to realize
him in my heart, and to appropriate him as mine.

Salvation may be described as the blind receiving sight, the deaf
receiving hearing, the dead receiving life; but we have not only received
these blessings, we have received CHRIST JESUS himself. It is true that he
gave us life from the dead. He gave us pardon of sin; he gave us imputed
righteousness.
These are all precious things, but we are not content with them; we have
received Christ himself.
The Son of God has been poured into us, and we have received him, and
appropriated him.
What a heartful Jesus must be, for heaven itself cannot contain him!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up My Nation to You.
With all sincerity and heaviness of heart, I plead for forgiveness for the violence against the innocent and the unborn in our land.
I confess the sin of forgetting You and Your abundant provision, and ask Your forgiveness for our ingratitude and complacency.
I pray for a revival of Faith in our Nation, for a wave of repentance and gratitude for Your blessings.
Be with our troops, strengthen and comfort them, and provide for them. Be with them now especially, as they cope with this latest tragedy at Ft. Hood.
Give us sane, wise and responsible leaders who will restore our country’s relience upon You for its greatness among nations, and heal our land.
In Jesus Name.
Amen
