There is a myth that Joseph of Arimathea ended up leaving Roman Palestine and ended up in Britain and that he ended up founding the Glastonbury Abbey in Southwest England.

Again, a myth. Unproven and unprovable.

But it makes for interesting reading.

This is an interesting work of fiction, favorably reviewed by Joanna Bogle (of EWTN fame), that extrapolates on this myth. Good reading (keep in mind it is written as a work of fiction, based upon the myth) -- the link behind the picture takes you to Amazon, where you can order it.
