One last point, you can always post your own article on the Religion Forum as an “open” thread to debate whether or not one should pray to saints. Or you can debate the issue on any “open” RF thread.
Heck, I even offered PRAYERS in post 6

Thank you.
I seriously mean it.
You do have a hard job. I know fairness is hard to come by, and even though my tactics weren’t so friendly, you were kind and gracious.
And Jim should give you a raise.
***The Religion Forum Moderator had a difficult situation that day, and handled it beautifully. That is one thankless job. Except most of us on the RF know how difficult it is, and respect the care that the RM takes to be fair and honest.***
I have not always agreed with the RM, but I have stated over the years that this is handled as good as anywhere else that I’ve been and much better than most.
“Maybe you should lighten up on poor old Religion Moderator.
Im sure genuine for-real-and-all prophets were not covered in Moderator school.”
LOL! Moderator School has a lot of ground to cover as it is, so I would think that the determination of true and not-so-true prophets must be left to ceiling cat.
I’m learning.
Thank you.
Rather, thank YOU.
Very well written. Thanks.
I REALLY want a cat.
***And Jim should give you a raise.***
The RM and I were talking some months ago about doubling his salary.
I have two, Malcolm & Lizzy.
Best. Cats. Ever.
Do they make catz that don’t give allergies?
"Stop mocking my dang prophecies!"
"Give me a dollar!"
"And a cookie!"
Take me to your delousing station.
Mom!
How’s everything up there?
Jambalaya, a Prophet, said we’ll be coming up to see ya’ soon in a giant SPACESHIP!
Love,
Edward
When someone is burdened with a crisis, and is asking others to pray for them in they way they know how, you want to have a healty debate on who they pray to?
That's really not very Christian, when you think about it.
Did you ever read "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"?
There was a "valley of holiness" in that book, full of scruffy prophets. Very enlightening.
