I read all the books when I was about 21. And Uri Geller and Carlos Castenada too.
Believing such and watching it be debunked should be part of everyone’s young adulthood.

LOL, I read the Castenada books too! I never did buy that the traveling with the aid of peyote was “real”.
He did have one good point though, about thinking about one thing, or at least when you’re doing that one thing to have no other thoughts, I used to apply my “Castenada” when playing sports. I was always a step ahead, not because of Carlos, I was always just obsessed with sports, the physical and the mental, still am.
I read some of the von Danichen books my friend had, entertaining, but couldn’t take it serious the way he did.
That fraud Geller STILL gets booked on TV! It’s things like that, even though he was exposed nationally by Johnny Carson and The Amazing Randi, that gets me annoyed. Passing off this 3rd rate magician as a “psychic”.
