Last night I was watching a Fox News report of the recent drying of the River Euphrates which extends into Iraq and Iran. I thought to myself: well that sounds familiar ... where have I heard that before?
One Google search later, I was confronted with a Bible verse from the book of Revelation, 16:12.

I think “End of Times” is just wishful thinking. More like the fall of an empire.
No one knows... not even those end times book writers...
I think a lot of just want to scream ‘Make it stop.’

I think pretty much every generation has believed that they were living in the end times. We might as well too. :-)
No, we’re living in the time prophesied concerning the rise of the antichrist and false prophet. The endtimes are another thousand plus years away. IMHO

As we enter a prolonged period of global cooling one may find that river filled to it’s banks and over flow as more rains occur and more snow is dropped on the mountains to the north in Syria and Turkey.

I have always been curious about this attitude.
My 10 year old once said, “I can’t wait for Jesus to come!”
I replied, “What will happen?”
Him, brightly, “We get to go to Heaven!”
Me: “All of us?”
Him, sadly: “Well, not all of us.”
Me: “And what about the others?”
Him: “They go to the other place.”
Me: “And you want that to happen tomorrow and deprive them of any chance of knowing our Lord Jesus?”
Since then, we don’t have many discussions about the end times, other than trying to be ready if they do come. But we talk a lot about the kingdom that is near. And we do our best to build it in the corner of the world our Creator has put us.
We won’t know the day or the hour, but we do know the signs of the times and we will know the SEASON. I believe that God will speak to the prophets, including spirit filled Christians, who WILL know. He has always warned His people.
I’ll give you mine. I won’t need it any more.
