Now, now, Iscool.
You know the name of the game is
SHRED EM ON SIGHT
SHRED EM 1ST LIGHT
SHRED EM BY DAY
SHRED EM BY NIGHT
SHRED EM UP ONE SIDE AND DOWN THE OTHER.
SHRED EM FOR ONE EXCUSE OR ANOTHER.
IT DOES NOT MATTER to self-righteous haughty naysayers . . . that I Cor 12-14 does not describe stoning New Testament Church Era prophetic sources AT ALL.
It merely describes the local body vetting which pronouncements are to be discerned as valid and which are not.
Evidently, Paul did not allow blood thirsty bucket brigades in the Corinthian church or any other.
Paul also makes clear that we, as New Testament Christians are to
AVOID DESPISING PROPHECYING!
INSTEAD, TO ALL SEEK TO PROPYECY!
Couldn’t tell that by the typical rantings of most naysayers, however. I guess they are part of the RUBBER BIBLE BRIGADE as well as the BUCKET OF ROCKS BRIGADE.
I’m curious: would it be a Type I error or Type II error to, by default, hold the claim of Prophecy, in the Biblical sense of the word “Prophecy” suspect? That is, is it a Type I error or Type II error to doubt such claims without any Revelation from God that such a claim is to be believed?
I’m genuinely interested in your opinion.
