Bullies as a topic of study can be somewhat interesting.

‘Tis a curious thing . . . how . . . surprisingly often . . .

when these socially askew and discomfitted souls

seem to run out of creativity and effective bludgeoning hostility in their own strength and fear . . .

they tend to plead and manipulate various nearby authority figures to take up their bullying for them.

It can be a pretty fascinating convoluted paradoxical pile of stinking contradictions pretty quickly.

Are you asserting that Body Ministry under the governing of the Holy Spirit operates in such a way?

Not really.

I’m asserting that Holy Spirit doesn’t ALWAYS avoid creating a disturbance.

Fine.

I am asserting that acting out New Testament, Holy Spirit gifting and ministry in an internet forum is inappropriate and immature at the very least.

The NT office of prophet (and role of the gift of prophesy) are for "the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ" Eph. 4:12.

If you have some scripture, doctrine, or tradition that says otherwise please share it with me.

Been reading this thread with an open mind...

Jedediah, I am also interested in your direct Yes or No answer to this simple question that wagglebee asked you.

Do you believe that you are a prophet of God? Yes or No?

Quix, you are a blessing and I so appreciate your friendship. I hope God blesses you today, tomorrow, and everyday, in great abundance. Thanks,

I want to know this: Can Jedediah create a rock so heavy that he, himself, cannot lift it?

Not a water contest I feel constrained to bother with.

I do confess to enjoying the fruit of such over the decade, plus, however . . . as evidenced by the many FREEPMAILS of folks who have expressed their thanks that I bothered in the . . . curious ways God has allowed and enabled me to bother with.

That kind of fruitfulness for my Lord is something I care about a lot.

It’s not a lasting matter of more significance than a gnat’s burp as to whether bystanders wish to throw rocks, cluck their tongues or otherwise cast aspersions at such efforts . . .

or not.

However, some perspectives can be quite amusing.

However, some perspectives can be quite amusing.

Since I live in the Appalachians, I guess I can look forward to ocean front property. ;^)

It appears to be his role on this thread to

RECEIVE ROCKS

vs

find them and throw them.

. . . though there are some interesting targets were one to be of a different bent.

LOL.

I think StanDeyo.com has a link to some future maps according to several folks of unknown validity to occultic sources.

However, one of the most anointed and pure Christian prophetic sources I know—Andrew Strom—has posted such a map . . . affirming at least the broad outlines in general.

And, I think the Eastern Seaboard will be greatly altered. I don’t know HOW far inland.

IIRC, I heard Marylin H predict about 1970 that at least Southern Fla would eventually be lost to the Sea in a period of great traumas and global change.

I’m certainly convinced that the Gulf of Mexico will reach to the Great Lake North of Chicago.

I believe the Texas and other Gulf coasts will suffer a lot.

I believe the Left Coast will be dramatically changed. I suspect that a lot of California will end up as islands—at best.

I believe the Grand Canyon will be dramatically changed.

It is quite plausible to me that Phoenix will eventually be a seaport.

We shall see.

Are you talking about Stix/Quix?

Marking off territory before getting ZAPPED?

I loved that game, too—the only one I liked of all available.

Alas, only got to play it less than a dozen or 2 times.

Was not my game, at all.

I am also interested in a direct answer to the question, and a followup or two.

Jedediah, do you believe that you are a prophet of God? Yes or No?

Following up: Do you believe there is a distinction between a NT prophet and an OT prophet?

To whom is a NT prophet called to prophesy?

What is the purpose of the NT prophetic gift?
