Had an interesting experience at pottery last evening. I shared one of my posts . . . I think post #43 with an Assembly of God woman who's mature and balanced and prayerful. And normally quite aware of the times we are in. Her response kind of . . . jolted me. She, too, thought I was 'too much into a doomsday perspective or mentality' if I understood her comment correctly.
What is this blindness even over folks who are mostly awake and aware? Is it wishful thinking?
Is it denial?
Is it pretending that it's manyana manyana manyana?
Is it spiritual delusion and blindness even over authentic Christians???
It's concerning.
I'm skeptical we'll have a very wonderful Christmas this year. If we do, it will be the last one until after Armageddon.
Why are so few folks--even END TIMES AWARE SPIRIT FILLED CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIANS--so lacking in alertness???
What's the best way to pray for such folks?
I just posted the vision from the Lord that the LDS woman received after Jesus rescued her from suicide. One of our dear prophetic brothers scolded Joya for emailing that around months ago because the woman was LDS. Personally, Jesus can rescue and speak to whomever HE CHOOSES and I'm not going to throw rocks at an authentic anything from Jesus to anyone. God has often used unlikely channels of His will throughout history.
Anyway--it seems to be a challenge to wake-up even those who are already mostly awake.
And the clueless are . . . increasingly terminally clueless. Very sad. Very very sad. Ah, well. We can only do what we can do that God enables us to do.
I don't know how much we'll be able to communicate by Holy Spirit or other means in coming weeks and months . . . Just know you are in my hearts and as God reminds, in my prayers. If any of you well known to me want to exchange phone numbers, please do by FREEPMAIL OR EMAIL.
May God have mercy on us all.
I know how frustrating this can be. I’ve tried sending things to my pastors and I get NO response from them. One has a son living in NYC. People get to thinking we’re over the top but...
My opinion is that those mostly awake believers who do not acknowledge the imminent judgment are holding onto the hope (the lie?) that this time will be like the times of judgment in the past and life will continue. Perhaps it is because we are so comfortable in the USA and a feeling of "it can't happen to me" has settled in. Perhaps it is that to honestly contemplate and accept the truth being shown brings great fear and panic and it is easier to scoff than to be humble.
I'm sure each of us that has accepted the truth of the season we are living in has had to address the fear and panic, I know I have. The only way to overcome these emotions is to be buried with Messiah and to live in Him alone. This process is easier said than done, however, and many are not willing to go through that "faith barrier" to obtain the peace that the Spirit has to offer. This process includes letting go of all control over our lives to the Lordship of Messiah, it includes releasing the future of our children to the Lordship of Messiah, it includes releasing our pride, our self-will, and our traditions to the Lordship of Messiah.
When the day of judgment dawns on this nation it will be the believers that have this peace beyond all understanding, who have already died to this world and all that it holds, that will comfort and help those who didn't want to see but cannot deny it any longer. Some will be humbled and accept and cling with all their might to Messiah, and others will flee to the hills and try to run which will bring their demise.
All we can do is to pray for soft and humble hearts. We MUST trust in the LORD that all He foreknew will come to Him and none will be lost. We must be willing to forsake all (including those who will not come to Him) and follow Jesus, trusting in His character and His Word. It is not by our might, but by His alone that the battle is won. Not only the battle that is at the doorsteps of this world, but more importantly, the battle for the lost souls.
Thanks for the ping!
This is a spiritual truth that the blind flesh cannot understand. It is a revelation from God that only comes to those who do not resist the spirit and humble themselves and become beggars for grace.
What worked for me years ago was this type of prayer. Lord I don't know what the truth is. Please show me the truth no matter what it is. Then once I found the truth I had to get over the need for approval from others.
God has used this country as a refuge for many of his children. I am not ready to give up on my country yet instead I will pray that people begin to waken and that we turn from our wicked ways and that the Lord’s will be done.
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
