A great explosion is about to come , Destroying things not of my kingdom , Prophecies told about to unfold , Things new wiping out the old , The storehouses of God's lightning released , Disturbing things now resting in peace , Ancient walls suddenly cut down , Nothing left but burnt glass on the ground , As paper mache burnt and blown away , A prophecy of the past happening in one day , A blink of the eye and nothing left to see , Yet all the nations witnessing God's majesty , A turning point in a war , An incredible change never seen before , Not even Sodom and Gomorrah know , A judgment this quick a sudden blow , Not even time to turn around , Yet a sudden removal of land and crown , Not even a brick left to restack and lay , A choice and a judgment chaff blown away , Too little praise their choice in time , What once was theirs now is mine , Yet what shall rise up from this dust , Nothing more of man or his trust , But a promise from your God , Of a laying down of a staff and rod , A renewing of authority , My will being done on top of catastrophe , A pleasant change and expansion of my kingdom , Not man's will but mine being done ,
You speak in riddles you say ?! But my will shall be done and revealed on this judgment day , Let it be known I speak of it in my word , So this is nothing that has not been heard , Yet another sweeping of the threshing floor , As I open heaven and move my sword , Much blood will spill within one day , Causing chaos and heavenly fear , a great dismay ,
So tell me children what will you do ? Follow me or follow you ?!
Isaiah 17 Proclamation Against Syria and Israel 1 The burden against Damascus.
Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap. 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. 3 The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, The kingdom from Damascus, And the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel, Says the LORD of hosts. 4 In that day it shall come to pass That the glory of Jacob will wane, And the fatness of his flesh grow lean. 5 It shall be as when the harvester gathers the grain, And reaps the heads with his arm; It shall be as he who gathers heads of grain In the Valley of Rephaim. 6 Yet gleaning grapes will be left in it, Like the shaking of an olive tree, Two or three olives at the top of the uppermost bough, Four or five in its most fruitful branches, Says the LORD God of Israel. 7 In that day a man will look to his Maker, And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel. 8 He will not look to the altars, The work of his hands; He will not respect what his fingers have made, Nor the wooden images nor the incense altars. 9 In that day his strong cities will be as a forsaken bough And an uppermost branch, Which they left because of the children of Israel; And there will be desolation. 10 Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, And have not been mindful of the Rock of your stronghold, Therefore you will plant pleasant plants And set out foreign seedlings; 11 In the day you will make your plant to grow, And in the morning you will make your seed to flourish; But the harvest will be a heap of ruins In the day of grief and desperate sorrow. 12 Woe to the multitude of many people Who make a noise like the roar of the seas, And to the rushing of nations That make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! 13 The nations will rush like the rushing of many waters; But God will rebuke them and they will flee far away, And be chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, Like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. 14 Then behold, at eventide, trouble! And before the morning, he is no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, And the lot of those who rob us.
Matthew 10:28 (New King James Version)
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
If you have the full armor of God, there should be no fear.
My wife has a NIV teaching bible and I literally read this passage for the first time, just as the new converts of the day and purpose for which this letter was written did. I found it illuminating as to the transition that former Jews were making into the new day of Christianity. (my words)
According to the historical references, they are not sure who wrote the letters.(Barnabus?) They know it was a learned professorial type with a excellent knowledge of scripture and a gifted writing ability. The letters were intended for new converts and nicely summarized the role of Jesus as moderator between the old and the new sometime before 70AD
To me it read like a index leading from the old testament into a new era of understanding. It had a nice summary of all the new principle of life and of dire warnings if not lived properly as God intended.
I see why you use it to explain the present as it fits nicely into our current lives. We have indeed ignored the warnings and the attempts to punish as we fell off the right track. In the end it mentions the end of times as a result. That God would set things right with force.
As I said, I am not a religious person, but I give history the respect it deserves and I know it repeats endlessly. I believe it would repeat if there were only one man and one woman left alive.
I see in the Bible that it has repeated for the most part over the past two thousand years. I don't know how one can prevent it and I would not claim it would be possible.
I just hope we don't get knocked back into the stone age for the sake of most but if we did, I would be fine and so would my kids, as they are taught to improvise and do with little assuming survival.
Let's hope we duck this mistake and perhaps learn a lesson. I think we are long overdue a lesson in humility and vanity.
well, those are special instances...He speaks to us in our stillness with a voiceless voice. The voice and words of truth that you hear and think are from God are directly from the devil and his minions. That is exactly how he captures souls, through the knowledge of good and evil just as in the garden. The light of God is much simpler...like when you simply see a truth about anything in a flash. No words attached to His light. Then the devil comes and speaks that truth in your head masquarading as the light. You and sooo many others are being tricked.
What you express is not biblical at all but out of fear and doubt , that does not exist in heaven and can not enter heaven . . .
Read Jeremiah 33:3 God is not a liar !
Exodus 25:22
1 Samuel 3
No fear just persecution from the pharisees as paul
Jesus Christ is not the author of this work.
It is a post written by God (Scriptural quotes) and a very strange man (everything else).
Why is anyone permitted to post their own words and list at the top of the thread “Jesus” as the author?
What could a Freeper post attributed to Jesus that would NOT be allowed to stand with that false attribution? Is there a limit, and if so, what is it?
In short, why is a post written by Jeff Kingshott permitted to be posted with an author listed (and misdefined) as Jesus?
Ok, just need a little help here. I read this post and then I went to the “Joshua Chronicles” and found similar posts but could find no concrete information regarding the person that is posting other than he is “operating in the five fold ministry,” which of course is conformation or proof of nothing. I have no problem with anyone “uplifting the Saints” but proclaiming to be a Prophet is entirely another matter. Is Jedediah or Joshua speaking here as a Prophet of the Lord? Is this to be construed as “Thus saith the Lord?” (apart from the run-on sentences and poor punctuation of course). Certainly the claims here are VERY ambiguous but who is this man who claims to speak the words of the Lord? What qualifies him as a prophet and what record of fulfilled prophecy does he offer. The Bible warns us of MANY false prophets so with that warning everyone should be very careful what they blindly accept as truth, especially when it is presented as ambiguously (”you say you speak in riddles”) as this appears to be. The Lord had no problem proving His Prophets so I feel Biblically moved to ask why we should accept this man’s words as the Word of the Lord?
Scroll down the blog page, on the right, and find the name and photo of Jeff Kingshott.
If you are offended by posts of his words as the words of Jesus, I suggest you hit the abuse button, as I have already done.
Jedediah, if the speak claims to be speaking as a vicar or prophet of Christ, then the author should be listed that way, e.g. "Jeff Kingshot, vicar of Jesus."
“speak” should be “speaker”
Apparently there are two “t”’s in Kingshott.
Thank you for the fix. There have been roughly-daily threads with this mis-attribution since “Jedidiah” signed up.
Will they be corrected too?
I see no pressing need to repair inactive threads.

I'm not offended. I'm more concerned with people who just accept stuff like this on face value. I'm also concerned with ministries that promote "prophets." Very, very dangerous ground. I'm pretty sure it's better to have not known Him than to falsely represent Him.
The New Church believes that Isaiah 17 refers to those who place religion in nothing but knowing knowledges (Damascus) and they are to be "destroyed". This knowledge will be serviceable to the New Church and the knowledge of knowledges will be rare but are to be instructed by the Lord. Finally, those who do not suffer themselves to be instructed by the Lord will lack all things, and will seize upon falsities.
Your posts on this thread are spot on based on my prayerful meditations. I see it as we are in creation week with a 'wedding' coming up. I'm avoiding all negative thoughts and directing all my focus and attention inward and upward.
Follow you where? Christ set the way. Oh, who do you think Isaiah was referring to when he said "The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim,....."?
"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 3:14)
Upward is so wonderfull when I can see through the clutter of the inward,if you get my drift.
This is the strong impression I get when contemplating both the times we live in and the man in the mirror.A part of me rejoices at the prospect and a part of me is scared witless. One thing is certain,no part of me will be on the fence then.
Jesus is Lord! God bless
Again?
