From my non-Catholic view point, I find the biggest scandal of scandals regarding the ‘lion’ is Teddy Kennedy teaming up with the KGB against President Reagan and the Polish Pope in tearing down the evil Iron Curtain.
This even though I am not Catholic I find more than offensive but down right disgusting. Something smells to ‘high’ heaven with all the silence.
It was offensive to Reagan too, I’m sure.
Anyway, we can pray for him. I’m sure he’s having a long wait in Purgatory, even if he did receive the Anointing of the sick — Last Rites from a priest.
