If you’re not Catholic why on earth would you take communion from a RC priest? It’s not just ‘do as the romans do’.
AS I said I do not because I respect my friend’s religious affiliation. When they attend the church where I attend we have no such prohibition. If they chose to partake ( and some do) that’s fine with me.
