Rifqa Bary, the young woman who fled Ohio fearing for her life, after converting from Islam to Christianity, told of her Muslim father's words:
"If you have this Jesus in your heart, you are dead to me. I will kill you."
"I will kill you"- the same words spoken to Mohammed Hijazi by his Muslim father in 2008. Watch this important video.
"From the Gaza strip to neighboring Egypt, his father is promising to kill him for becoming a believer."

Rifqa also warned that her Muslim parents had threatened to take here back to their native country of Sri Lanka. And that there is an asylum where they place "apostates" from Islam, because they think "your crazy".
In the video below you will see and hear an Egyptian Muslim cleric describe Muslims who convert from Islam to Christianity as "mentally ill". Watch for it. This occurs at about 1:14 into the video.
You will also see in the video, as in the case of Rifqa Bary, a campaign of character assasination against Mohammed Hijazi for leaving Islam. His former Muslim freinds appearing on media television and calling Hijazi "disturbed".
This type of smear campaign against Rifqa Bary, and the evangelical Christian church she sought refuge with, is already underway.

We need a network of “safe-houses” to protect converts trying to stay alive. we have them for grug addicts, battered women, and runaways so why not?

No, by that you lump together all people who live in the Middle East together. The “utter savages” are Muslims who perpetrate jihad terror and the small group of ultra-orthodox Jews who don’t even believe their own state of Israel has a right to exist, and who also persecute Messianic belivers in Yeshua.
Your absolutely right.
We need to pray for this man, his wife and baby. We need to pray for all Christians in the Middle East who worship the True and Living G-d under such persecution.
