In my Church there will be a mass exodus. The other alternative is to become an independent Lutheran Church. If the vote for that does not happen, I have a Missouri Synod, or a Wisconsin Synod Church to choose from. “Forgive them Father for they know not what they do”.

As Cletus.D.Yokel wrote upthread, much depends on what options there are for individual congregations and their members. This is why I suggested it will be a hemorrhage and not a mass exodus. Of course, I refer to the whole, not individual units.
I’m LCMS. Was, ELCA, before that WELS, and born LCMS. So I’ve come full circle. I’m home.
