I’m currently reading the New York Times bestseller, “Left to Tell” by Imaculee Ilibagiza. I just finished a section in which this passion for those who are commiting the genoscide against the Tutsis overtakes her — and she is reduced to constant prayer in the small space in which she and five other women are being hidden.

Who are you calling irascible, and how can you see into my kitchen, anyway?

LOL!

Have you read the book “Left to Tell” and how this Catholic woman survices the Rwandan genocide against her tribe.

No, I’ve been wanting to, but haven’t ordered it. However, she’s going to be speaking at our Eucharistic Conference this fall, and I’ll be sure to make at least one of her talks.

Totally random. LOL. I am having a bit of a hard time getting this one through my head. My heart sort of gets it. Anger, danger, appetite? I sort of can put it all together but have to probably see it in a sentence. LOL. Thanks for the post.

My appetite got so irascible this afternoon that I made 2 qts of mint chocolate chip ice cream whilst engaging with proddies, some nice, some fierce, on another thread. The impending danger, however, was from She Who Must Be Obeyed who came back to the cottage from baking at church to find the ice cream freezer spinning away. She’s on a diet and threatened me with grievous bodily harm...but then ate some ice cream and became mellow!

I’m sure you will enjoy her speech. She is really out there for her cause in Africa.

I’ve had an irascible appetite with Obama’s healthcare bills and future proposals. I don’t think I’m totally finished with the anger yet, however.

In my estimation that anger prods me into action, however, I am learning not to be so impulsive when I respond irasibly. (Is that a word? LOL!)

Go make some ice cream and eat it. Don’t go buy it, make it. You’ll smile and the song of the turtle will be heard in your tummy and you won’t care at all about Obama or his health plan or anything else about him, at least for awhile.

Ooh, that’s cold, K. All I’ve got is Tom’s Noodle Dish, and not even any Restorative Beverage to wash it down. However, I think there’s some vanilla ice cream hidden under the frozen vegetables in the top-loader, so once I get the byos too bed, I’ll embrace my irascible appetite and my inner fat girl and eat it ALL!

Learn Greek; All good things come to those who learn Greek. It is also an inoculation against heresy. Ask your son!
