Alamo-Girl, Christian harmony and lack of discord, contention etc. are great Biblical priorities. However, they are not the Supreme Biblical priority. I don't know that they are even in the top 5 or the top 3. You might want to consider John 13:35 and John 17:21 on this topic, as well as Acts 2:44 and Acts 5:12.
Not to mention Romans 14:4...
Just sayin'...
Cheers!

Certainly those are wonderful Scriptures . . .
loving one another, unity, things in common, avoiding judging a brother . . .
Great Biblical priorities, as I noted . . .
Loving someone ENOUGH to tell them the truth is also a Great Biblical priority.

Thank you oh so very much for those beautiful Scriptures, dear grey_whiskers! They are absolutely perfect!
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2 Timothy 2:23-26
To God be the glory!
