Ever since Sarah Palin entered the national political arena last summer as the Republican VP nominee, she has caused sheer panic in the hearts and minds of the Leftist Liberals in America. Accordingly, the Leftist media is hell-bent on doing all they can to discredit Palin’s accomplishments and destroy her character at any cost. Even now, much effort and energy is being expended to deceive the American people regarding her considerable achievements. Her popularity among conservatives is astounding, and many believe that she will get the 2012 endorsement for the presidency.
The Left and its State-Run Media Minions are now extremely busy trying to discredit Palin and have set up an unparalleled smear campaign to derail any 2012 presidential run.

I believe their passion to destroy Sarah Palin extends even beyond their hatred of Dan Quayle and W. Their attacks border on psychotic with even her small children targets. I cant begin to put into print how I despise the national media for their efforts and disgusting, sewer level approach to the Palins.

Agree - I think we found our candidate for 2012. It’s either a fighter (i.e., Sara), or another Bob Dole/John McCain type that will let Obama walk over him.

I think this writer nailed it.
The attacks on Sarah Palin were just another front in the war, and a very effective front at that. She is not a quitter, she just simply took away one of their fronts. They have lots of other fronts to continue pressing, but this was a big one, a really big one.
On the surface it would appear the Left has won this one by forcing her from office. But like a lot of apparent victories by the Left this one could well come back to bite them in the butt. I think their celebrations and victory laps might be a bit premature though. By not knowing when to back off they've given her a reason to rid herself of a the huge burden of having to worry about how the Left’s hate of her is hurting Alaska.
The great thing is we will know in time for sure how astute the move was. One side or the other is going to have a lot of egg on its face and there will be no problem figuring out which side it is! It's a war and the sooner we call it for what it is and take the fight to them the sooner we'll be able to get back to running America the way it should be done!
A Defense of the aging American political machine. It's been going on for over 20 years, but intensified after Reagan put a big-ass scare into them. Fortunately, the machine managed to keep one of it's own in as VP at the time.

Sarah's move reminds me of the old Warner Brother's cartoons, where the chained up barn yard dog finally has enough of Foghorn Leghorn's abuse, and slips the chain, and just waits smiling for Foghorn's return...
That is exactly the right phrase. It has been since Sarah showed up on the national stage.
Morning Joe has just had another assassination session with the predominant message being that Sarah just wasn't having fun as governor so she quit.
The only one standing up for Sarah was Mika (not Joe) and Mika had some good points. But even then the producer needed to break in with leftist emails criticizing Mika for some inconsequential use of words (typical) to make her entire argument seem wrong. This is such a load of cr@p.
They either don't get it or they understand just how smart this move was and feel the need to step up the shots on Sarah. Probably a mixture of both.

I think many of the female liberals hate Sarah Palin because they envy her beauty. And many of the male liberals would LOVE to have sex with her, if in their intellectual and physical impotence they could swallow enough Viagra!
Ever notice that all of Palin's critics (Left, Middle, Right) NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVERRRRRRR.... talk/debate about her POLICIES or ISSUES and where she stands.

Absolutely right. Nothing illustrates this more than the attempted murder of her fellow churchgoers when arsons attacked the Wasilla Bible Church.
IMHO those who see what she’s done as quitting don’t have what it takes to back a true conservative anyway. That’s not meant to be critical of them, just that it takes a special way of seeing things to think that what she did was a stroke of political genius and those who don’t think that way probably wouldn’t like some of the things she would do once in office either.
For my money, until she proves me wrong, my sentiment is “Go, Sarah, Go!”
