Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots that marked the birth of the gay rights movement, President Barack Obama hosted an LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) Pride Month Reception at the White House and told his guests-- including Episcopal Church Bishop Eugene Robinson-- that “there are still fellow citizens, perhaps neighbors or even family members and loved ones, who still hold fast to worn arguments and old attitudes; who fail to see your families like their families; and who would deny you the rights that most Americans take for granted. And I know this is painful and I know it can be heartbreaking.”
After reiterating his opposition to the Defense of Marriage Act, the “don’t ask, don’t tell” military policy, and ‘the discriminatory ban on entry to the United States based on HIV status,” the president paid tribute to the birth of the gay rights movement:

I take exception to that.
Old attitudes that have helped this nation endure in freedom, prosperity, and moral fiber for over 200 years.
...and now comes this quisling and changling who thinks that by simply crticizing these things he will over turn them? Thin again, Barry.
Those of us standing in oppositon to the Obamanation...and these statements prove once again that that is exactly what it is...love our country...you know, the Red, White, and Blue based on the Constitution and the fundamental moral values that undergird it.
We just don't like, and will not accept what Obama and his ilk are doing to our country. The fundamental change and transformation into something entirely different.
It's not whining, and its not passing...it's steadfast, growing, purposeful, committed opposition to the destruction Obama and those who support him are causing...and the assinine foolishness associated with trying to transform this nation into a marxist construct, something that has proven to be so abjectly disasterous and failing everytime it has been tried in history.
That's what they fear and why they are demonizing and categorizing traditional Americans...and its understandable that they do because this opposition is going to start turning these people out in 2010, and then run them out on a rail in 2012.

The beliefs and attitudes of the millions upon millions of Judeo-Christian believers and the unbelievers who view it as deviant are now worn and old. Who says he doesn't see himself as the new god?
