I assumed that the book was fiction from front cover to back, so I assumed that when he claimed things as facts they were fictional. I also don’t believe in Oz or Hogwarts, but it would be pretty cool if they did exist.

That is your right as an American citizen. Enjoy your freedom of speech. People probably wouldn’t believe you because the book would be fiction, as you stated. Just like people don’t believe the content in Angels and Demons because it is fiction. The only people making a fuss about this is the church.

BTW, my family has many hicks. No inbreeding that I can remember, but I’m sure everyone’s fam has inbreeding somewhere down the line. Some of my relatives do smell. There are a few with a severe skin problem (from ancestral inbreeding?) and can’t wear deodorant. Cannibalism, well that really makes for a great fictional plot! Can I have a signed copy?
