Im a mother and a homemaker, and it isnt glamorous. Its tedious, monotonous, thankless, messy, germy, and it can be really hard on your manicure. Its also the greatest job in the whole world.

By inhabiting the womb He proclaimed the honor and dignity of motherhood. By choosing to submit Himself to the care and authority of a mother, He put His indelible stamp of approval and merit on the vocation of motherhood. He declared it sacred and gave it the highest esteem and honor. In fact, He thought motherhood so important that He didnt want to miss out on having one Himself.I had never thought of it this way. What a revelation. Thank you for posting this.

Its tedious, monotonous, thankless, messy, germy, and it can be really hard on your manicure. No, being a junior-assistant tax-flunky in a large corporation is tedious, monotonous, and germy. Being a mother and homemaker is fascinating, at least with my children/reptiles, and we're only sick if Der Prinz brings some crud home from his place of employment.
It is thankless, though - what job isn't? - and hard on the grooming.
