In addition to being a product of modernism, it is also consistently Mariophobic. In Luke 1:28 she is described as “favored one” as opposed to “full of grace”; in John 2:4 “and to thee” is redacted from Jesus’s mouth. In John 19:27 St. John the teenager is presented as a homeowner, and his adoption by Mary is made to look as some kind of trivial economic arrangement. None of these inventions are based on the original text.

It is, basically, a scandal of a translation.

You are so righ on the Marian translations. I hate it that it does not say "full of grace."
