Just thought I'd add that the letter did say Dr Greg Bahnsen

Dr. Greg Bahnsen is one of those heavy theologians with some big words and heavy thinking from the reform camp, with good theology. I hope I posted the article correctly I've only posted one or two articles in my freep life time and that was many years ago.

I have little fear that the Buddha’s body will be found either.

Buddhists do the cremation thing.

I am amused at the notion of proving or disproving a miracle. How do you get a meaningful sample size? If the laws of physics are subject to violation, then why not the physics of the light from the screen to your eyes reading this message? Why not the mathematics that would tell you if your sample size was large enough?

Hey alpha you still out there. I had to scroll and scroll to find out who is was that use to ping me for the GRPL. Finally after several pages of ping pages I finally found alpha-8-25-02 last ping for the reform list which I think was called Great Reform Ping List GRPL, I might be wrong about the name, but anyway the last ping was early March. Does anyone know what happen to this ping list group.

I see this as largely a strawman issue.

Even those most engaged in showing the reasonableness of believing the biblical accounts of Jesus Christ (e.g. Josh McDowell) acknowledge that faith has to be exercised. People can and will walk away from acknowledging even the obvious.

Thoroughly reject this.

Christians should be well read regarding the history and facts of the resurrection. We’re to be prepared, according to Peter, to give reasons.

There is a certain impropriety about attempting to move an opponent from his own circle into the circle of Christian belief by appealing to evidence for the resurrection, and there are many reasons why the evidentialist's building a case for Christianity upon neutral ground with the unbeliever ought to be avoided.

I guess he's never read what Paul said in Antioch or Thessalonica or Athens or Jerusalem or to Festus and Agrippa or again and again and again throughout his letters: he preached the resurrection and asserted that the resurrection was proof of Jesus's power over death and his identity as savior of mankind.

God's word makes clear that man's rebellion against the truth is morally, not intellectually, rooted.

A student of C.S. Lewis once went to him with a problem. Lewis quickly determined that the student's problem was one of morals, not ethics. Most of the time, our perplexities come not from not knowing what we should do but from our unwillingness to do the right thing.
