Jeremiah 5: No One is Upright

Verses 30-31
30 “A horrible and shocking thing
has happened in the land:
31 The prophets prophesy lies,
the priests rule by their own authority,
and my people love it this way.
But what will you do in the end?
INDEED.
SIGH.
The book of Jeremiah is out of chronological order. But if memory serves me correctly, this was right before the people were carried off into captivity due to the judgment of God.
