How strikingly symbolic.
Honestly, I’d feel sorry for the pilot, but taking off with an overloaded plane was both contrary to regulations and hawg-stupid. I guess that leaves feeling sorry for the children, who didn’t make the decision.

I don’t know where any particular individual goes or what prayers he may utter in his last moments or how God may work in those last moments. I do suspect, however, this person is becoming acquainted with many souls who never got to be born.

The pilot, who was a former military flier who logged over 2,000 miles...
Lazy, uninformed press strikes again. that's most likely 2000 hours of flight time. I guess accuracy has gone out the window with objectivity.

And the Deacon forgot to add, that we Catholics are also praying for the souls of Dr. Feldkamp's lost family and friends, especially the young ones, that God may forgive them their sins and grant them eternal rest with Him in Heaven, where eye has not seen nor ear heard the greatness of the joy that awaits.
And may their voices there join in choir with those interceding for Dr. Feldkamp and his wife, that they may repent of their wickedness and change their lives so that they may not perish in the fire that is infinitely hotter than the fire of that plane crash, and which can never be extinguished.
