Thank you for posting this tonight. I am a pre-tribulation believer. To me it just makes sense. Our generation is blessed because we will never die and I live my life daily expecting that “today is the day”. Dr. David Jeremiah presently has a book out, “What in the World is Going On?” that gives a good description of the rapture and the tribulation. One of the things that he comments on is how few ministers will preach on the end times. There will be a lot of people who attend church that are going to be surprised on the day of the rapture. Thank you again.

Well, you’re welcome. I just thought that people should not be “hammered” for such a basic doctrine, as the Rapture, that we all know comes from the Bible... :-)

I hope that we can add good information, studies, verses, websites and so on to this thread (and other threads later on), in regards to the Rapture. It’s a very relevant thing these days.

I enjoy David Jeremiah’s writings also. LaHaye was good at one time but he became very commericial and I still remember buying a repackaged version of “No Fear of the Storm” which was placed and sold as a new book. I was livid.

I also thought they dragged out the “Left Behind” series far too long. It could have been wrapped up in three books. Clyde Emmitt Douglas had one single novel on the Rapture, Tribulation, and Second Coming that not only finished up in one large work, but contained Scriptural references in the margins.

I had dinner with a believer tonight, a dear friend, and he is torn by whether to store up water and supplies. He believes in the pre-trib theology, but often wanders over to mid-trib, and when he watches too much news, he becomes almost post-trib. I told him the Holy Ghost would make known what to do if the Lord tarries.

Dr. David Jeremiah

He makes some good points...One is that the vast majority of the church has already encountered Heaven...There is not only no scriptural evidence but it doesn't make any sense either that the small group of Christians still here at the Rapture would have to go thru the Tribulation...
