The Book of Mormon is a fraud because everybody knows the Jews didn’t build temples anywhere but Jerusalem.

But, guess what, scholars now know that observant Jews did build temples in other places.

I and some Archaeologist friends of mine I contacted are unfamiliar with this. I tried to Google it, but was unable to find any reference to it. Could you please provide a link or source?

Good luck.

At the start of every trial, the defense lawyer will state to the jury that certain things have been ALLEDGED against his cliant, and that he will SHOW to the jury that these allegations are FALSE by using the EVIDENCE.

If the dude comes up with NO evidence, well - I'd hate to be his client!

Look up “Elephantine Papyri” in Wikipedia. There are citations to numerous non-Mormon sources. An exiled Israelite community built a temple on Elephantine Island in Egypt in about the 6th century BC.

There are also remains of what is now believed to be a temple a few days’ journey south of Jerusalem. I’ve forgotten the name.

There may be others of which I am unaware.
