St Valentine’s day has special meaning for my family.
Fifty three years ago, at a gas drilling camp in northern New Mexico, our trailer house blew up due to a gas leak. At 5:00 AM us three little children stood barefoot on the frozen snow covered ground as our horribly burned mother was pulled from the ruins.
The next ten years were the worst years of our lives. It still affects us today after all these years.
