I live in the here, in the now, in an urban neighborhood, and I didn't fall off the truck yesterday. I work with middle school kids several times a week, and I spend some time with middle school kids every single day--and I'm not just talking about my own 6th grader. Many of the girls I know are sexually curious, a few are adventurous, and some are experienced. The experienced ones are the girls whose mothers put them on the pill as soon as they started menstruating. I don't care what you believe. My experience with these girls has shown me that the girls without access to birth control are the girls who HAVE kept their knees together so far.

Ok I think I understand what you are driving at. You aren’t talking about taking away BC from those already on it, but making it unavailable to teens and pre-teens. Am I correct?

I can see how that might work.
