If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
Does God care who wins? Of course He doesnt.
Unless He does.
After all, who knows what He cares about? Who knows if He is even a He or a She or a Who Am? Or if He even is.
Who knows?
Does God care that Kurt Warner, the quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, is more likely to be spotted carrying his bible than his playbook? Does God care that Ben Roethlisberger, Warners counterpart in Super Bowl XLIII this Sunday, used to adorn his armbands with the letters PFJ, an acronym for Playing For Jesus (The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback stopped only after the NFL fined him for violating its uniform policy)?
Does God care?

NO.
He could care less.
He’s more conserned about our ungodly liefstyple choices and routine behaviors.
He could care less.
He's more concerned about our ungodly lifestyle choices and routine behaviors.
My only question is: Why did they ask some stoned-out college freshman to write this piece? Shallow, childish, meandering, pointless and boring.
I would be disappointed if He had a financial stake in the outcome.
If God cared about the Super Bowl he wouldn’t have it on NBC, and he wouldn’t have Keith Overbite doing the commentary..YUCK, I might have to put the Super Bowl on mute
God does not care who wins, but he does bet the Over & Under.
Well crap! I didn’t know creepy Olderman was going to have any part with the superbowl. If nbc lean any more left they are going to fall off the face of the earth, amen.
It all depends on who the real God is. If the real god is the God of Mohammed, football is un-Islamic, and everyone involved in football will burn in Hell.
There are several Christians on the Cardinals including #13 (Kurt Warner) and #26 (Rod Hood)! Go Cardinals...
God already knows who won the Superbowl. Duh.
What’s the Super Bowl?
Is it something I should care about?
How big is the bowl if it is super big?
No - he took Arizona +7. He's only concerned with whether the Cards keep it within a TD.
Back in the Dark Ages when there was only three channels and only one college football game on Saturday. I remember watching a Notre Dame game gack in the fifties and the Notre Dame kicker made the sign of the cross before kicking. To this nine year old Protestant it was a football ritual. My Mother explained it to me; I wondered why, and I am still wondering.
When Joe Garagiola (a Catholic) was catching for the Cardinals and Pirates, he would get irked whenever a batter would make the sign of the cross when he came to bat.
So Garagiola would jump up in front of the plate and like wise bless himself, then get in the batter’s face and say “There, now we’re even with God. Let’s play ball.”
Yes, God cares about the Super Bowl. He cares about it because people care about it, and God cares about people.
Nope. God has more important things to do than sit around a TV and pig out and drink whatever.
