Members of All Souls Anglican Church had to walk away from their home in 2007, after the Episcopal Diocese said they could no longer worship there.
Now the diocese is walking away from the empty 5.3-acre All Souls campus in Mandarin, putting it up for sale for $2.8 million. But the former occupants say "no thanks" to coming back as they hone in on a new, permanent home nearby.

ping!
Anglican ping.
Been there, done that. Back in 1994. So long as they continue to stick to the Word of God and not “innovations” of man; they will do just fine.
Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams.

The California Supreme Court recently ruled that three Episcopal churchs that left their diocese were the property of the diocese and not the parishioners. Well, la-dee-da. This article confirms my expectations. The diocese gets to throw out the parishioners who then move elsewhere to continue their parish. The diocese is left with an empty building, or does the diocese expect hundreds of new parishioners to show up? Guaranteed that eventually the diocese attempts to sell the property back to the original parishioners.
With all the faithful long gone, and nothing but a few nasty homosexuals seeking to turn the Church into an orgiastic bath house, The Protestant Episcopal Church in the USA dies, not with a bang, but a whimper.
The wicked Diocese of Florida is reaping what it has sewn.
Now they're stuck with a bunch of empty churches that (especially with older parishes with older buildings) are VERY expensive just to maintain and pay the light bill. That's a significant drain on the finances of a church that (1) has spent millions in litigation with its former members; and (2) isn't getting much of anything in receipts or pledges from the (empty) pews.
They are getting EXACTLY what they deserve.
(we left in 2003).
