I come to You tonight weary and ready for rest, yet thinking over what is happening to my country and not liking it. Over the past few days, President Obama has made liberal use of his pen calling things into being that very well may mean thousands of lives lost and our freedom threatened. Many thought he would move slowly. But, he isn't doing that. Rather, he is wasting no time overturning measures which have contributed to our safety and making is so that terrorists very well may be set free. All I can say about some of his decisions is that he is ill-informed at best and evil at worst. Is he trying to dismantle the country? Lord, protect us from this evil.
Protect our military Lord under their new Commander in Chief. May he stay out of their way and allow them to carry out warfare without interference from politicians. May they have victory over the enemy, and may America stay strong.
I pray for Israel. Even now her enemies reload. Help her to win in battle. Help her to win the war.
I pray for the unborn, and the mothers considering abortion. Obama will make more death possible. May Your truth break through and show these women there is another way.
And work in Obama's heart. The challenges are too great to go it without You. Save the President and his cabinet.
Go with us the rest of the day and into the evening. Help us. Help us to glorify You in all we say and do. It is in Jesus' blessed name, Amen.

Obama has no delight in the Word of God.
Joseph Farah said it best in his article Pray Obama fails
It has become a sort of conventional wisdom among soft-minded believers. The biblical proof-text for this misguided way of thinking is Romans 13:1-4:
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
"Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
"For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
"For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."
Many a coward has been bolstered in his conviction against challenging tyranny by not reading too deeply into the Scriptures. Yet, nowhere does the Bible ever suggest evil rulers are to be obeyed. When the rule of men conflicts with the commands of God, the Bible leaves no doubt about where we should stand.
That's why I do not hesitate today in calling on godly Americans to pray that Barack Hussein Obama fail in his efforts to change our country from one anchored on self-governance and constitutional republicanism to one based on the raw and unlimited power of the central state.
It would be folly to pray for his success in such an evil campaign.
I want Obama to fail because his agenda is 100 percent at odds with God's. Pretending it is not simply makes a mockery of God's straightforward Commandments.
So you will not see me joining in the ritual of affirming Obama and his mission in public or private prayer this week – or any other week.
Instead, I uphold the words of Jesus in Matthew 15:14: "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." And I take warning from Isaiah 9:16: "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed."
And please don't tell me about "rendering unto Caesar."
It's important to consider the circumstances and the audience behind Jesus' instructions to "render unto Caesar." The Sadducees were attempting to trap Jesus into advocating open contempt for Caesar. He recognized their wicked and hypocritical little game and answered them with a totally truthful response that astonished everyone.
But think about it. There are two components to Jesus' words. We are to "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's," but we are also to "render unto God the things that are God's. Well, everything ultimately belongs to God. But, most of all, this injunction by Jesus instructs us that government laws cannot trump God's laws – ever.
If government commands you to do evil, as a Christian you must resist. There is no alternative. Citing the "render unto Caesar" line is an apologetic for accountability to God – nothing more, nothing less.
Furthermore, it needs to be pointed out that in America we don't have a Caesar. Never have, never will. You see, our system of government is called a free republic, and it is based on the concept of constitutional self-government. We have no "rulers" in America – except ourselves and our God. We believe in the rule of law, not the rule of men.
This is an important distinction, not a semantic one.
Nowhere in the Bible does it teach us to obey evil rulers. Nowhere.
This is a time for principled biblical resistance, not phony Christian appeasement.
How can he sees the error of his ways and repents, unless his own policies and their results be brought direct into his own life?
I'm not happy about ill befalling another person, or family, but let's remember how education is done. Nothing is more educational than a significant emotional event. And nothing drives us closer to God than the same.
Now let's get started:
We must pray that every policy, law, and executive order that Mister Obama puts forth, be brought into his family, for the edification of others, as well as Obama.

So Lord, please strengthen and empower Blogger to continue on, regardless of how much derision the enemy tries to stir up. Give Blogger unction from on High, and a fresh filling of Your Holy Spirit, for Your servant is fighting the good fight, and realizes that the battle belongs to You, and that You Lord are our victory. Dear God,
Crush the enemies in our mist. Lead them to the folly of their hubris and destroy them in their own excess. Show the power of your presence. Restore to leadership those who truly worship you and follow your Son. Return the values to our society that our FOunders envisaged as creating the blessings of Liberty through the life of service to others as you intended. AMen.
PRAYER FOR GOVERNMENT LEADERS
God of power and might, wisdom and justice,
through you authority is rightly administered,
laws are enacted, and judgment is decreed.
Assist with your spirit of counsel and fortitude
the President and other government leaders of these United States.
May they always seek
the ways of righteousness, justice and mercy.
Grant that they may be enabled by your powerful protection to lead our country with honesty and integrity.

Lord, I ask that you send confusion into the enemy camp. Foil the plans of the enemy and shine light to consume the darkness. Father, I lift President Obama up to You and ask that You give him a new pair of glasses to see what he has been missing. Reveal Yourself to him, Lord, and show him that You alone are his source. Separate him from the iniquities of corruptive forces surrounding him and bring him forth in service to You. Let him have ears to hear and eyes to see, and bless this nation for Your Kingdom purpose here on earth. In Christ name, amen.

I come to You now, in total dismay. Our new President is now blatantly being compared to Jesus. It is no longer a simple foolish blathering of adoration of this man... but now... he is being said to be Christ-like.
Oh Holy God! Holy, jealous and magnificent above all... I can only stand in awe of You! I pray that this President will learn from You to be humble, as Jesus. I pray that these people saying he is like Jesus come to know and understand Jesus... and that there is no other, there is no comparison. Oh God, have mercy on Your people! Protect us, teach us how to fight the good fight, and grant us the wisdom we need to live and walk in this day.
I hope and pray this President will lead this country in godly wisdom, virtue, and power. My hope lies in You, most precious anchor of hope! I commit this President to You... as I do this country. I am very concerned about this President's stance on abortion. I know there are a lot of other urgent matters, and this President has his plate full, but Lord... I pray for the lives of the unborn children! I pray for the sovereign life and well-being of this nations republic!
I thank You for the blessing of this great nation. I thank You for the freedoms of this great nation. I thank You for the prime example of leadership, justice, and mercy on Your people.
