And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you this day with a grateful heart. So thankful for all that you do for us and for our country. Thank you for President Bush and his leadership. He has guided and led this country to the best of his ability and this country has been safer because of his leadership. Lord you are a God of mercy and we are ever mindful of this great truth. Father be with our President, grant him a good long life, full of your blessings. Though President Bush is ending a chapter of his life, there is a new one just beginning and our prayer for him is that you would be most important to him each and everyday.

Lord be with our servicemen and women. Guide their hearts and their minds towards you Lord. May they be able to trace your finger in the circumstances of their lives and grow in the grace and knowledge of you Lord. We ask these things in Your precious name, amen.

Even now, O Lord, prepare our hearts as we see the coming day when our beloved country changes direction. If the new Administration contains not Godly men and women who will chart our course, raise up countless numbers of Your children who will intercede before the Throne of Grace on their behalf.

If our national policy gives way to leniency to terrorism and justice and moral and fiscal responsibility, raise up countless numbers of Your children to stand in the gap for our beloved country, that we might be spared a national disaster.

If the people clamor for change, O Lord, bring to them the change that is needed ... a change of heart made new by the Blood of the Lamb. Holy Spirit, Breath of God, sweep across this land, that we might know the sweet fragrance of revival.

And if people celebrate what they see to be the departure of an evil President and welcome the emergence of one termed “good,” take the scales from their eyes, else they perish. For, indeed, Lord, this land is Your land, for “the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.” Break down our golden calves, that we see only You, and repent, and Praise Your Holy Name. Amen ...

President Bush knows in his heart that he has done the right thing. He has served his country to the best of his ability and deserves honor through the remaining years of his life.

We know that God has honored him and will do so forever. President Bush needs no other but God’s blessing to hold his head high.

May our warriors return triumphant as the enemy melts away.

Lord, please open the eyes of the haters. Let the see the error of their ways.
