I know.

Kenneth Hagin’s disciples tended to run sky west and crooked with his teachings.

Nevertheless, it is SCRIPTURE THAT

GOD WOULD THAT WE

PROSPER

AND BE IN HEALTH

EVEN AS . . . . AS . . . AS OUR SOULS PROSPER . . . in putting Him first etc.

Oh but peace, peace, peace and prosperity are about to spring forth... The compassionate liberals and their religion are about to pull off the greatest deception of this flesh age.

Some TV preachers suggest that "God" is an ATM machine. Put your card in and withdraw what you want.

And if you do not get what you want it is because you are in some known sin or do not have enough faith.

It's a false-gospel, works religion. Just what “evangelicals” in America love to embrace these days.

3 John 1:1-3 (21st Century King James Version)

3 John 1
1The Elder, Unto the well-beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth:

2Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

3For I rejoiced greatly when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

KJV

3 John 1:1-3 (The Message)

3 John 1
1-4The Pastor, to my good friend Gaius: How truly I love you! We’re the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul! I was most happy when some friends arrived and brought the news that you persist in following the way of Truth. Nothing could make me happier than getting reports that my children continue diligently in the way of Truth!

3 John 1:1-3 (Amplified Bible)

3 John 1
1THE ELDERLY elder [of the church addresses this letter] to the beloved (esteemed) Gaius, whom I truly love.

2Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.

3In fact, I greatly rejoiced when [some of] the brethren from time to time arrived and spoke [so highly] of the sincerity and fidelity of your life, as indeed you do live in the Truth [the whole Gospel presents].

I can’t wait for that to happen.

I DO definitely believe in prophecy, miracles, angels, demons and their exorcisms and the power of God to miraculously change a situation...in fact I believe as the end times approach we’ll see it beginning to happen.

But I think the whole movement and belief in gifts, etc., was hijacked decades ago by false prohets and disciples of Satan masquerading as Christians, from Aimee Semple Macpherson to the various “prosperity” cultists to the Branham tyes and probably to Benny Hinn and the other Copeland types...

Liberals have religion, algore’s campaign manager said so, and we are about to see the most compassionate administration the world has ever seen.

But of course God does apparently need the help of the helpers to rush in His plan before they take flight out of here. Just a revival around the corner to get God's attention and follow them.

Jackie Alnor reports of the video, which was aired on Sky Angel TV, USA - "Cindy Jacobs starts out with an odd look on her face and silent/dead air. (She looks possessed) She begins as others talking about 'God's fire' wave after wave of fire, etc." Reference is made to a city called Daytona Beach.
Cindy: "We're here because there's a changing of the guard in the heavenlies."

Cindy: "Why Daytona Beach? You see God is very particular about places. He chooses places as he chooses people. There are places that there are redemptive deposits of anointing, visitation and what we have found and what we discussed in the speakers' meeting, caused us to realize we're here for such a time as this."

OK - let's pause and examine what Cindy Jacob's has just said. All of this is totally unbiblical. What guard is being changed in the heavenlies? What in the name of common sense can such a statement signify? Contrary to the claim the Bible shows that within the New Covenant God is not particular about any place. There are no "redemptive deposits of anointing", whatever that expression signifies, upon certain places today. Christ told the woman of Samaria that is was no longer a question of where or when - not even Jerusalem or Mt Gerazim - but simply a matter of "spirit and truth."3

When is a Prophet NO Profit?

Now, let me give you the exact words of Cindy Jacobs so you can understand his dilemma. "The river is going to flow through Zimbabwe and I see a powerful torrent of water, a mighty rushing torrent, many fish. I see that there are strongholds in the church of division and the accuser of the brethren is active to discourage souls. An army of women with the Deborah anointing will march across the land. They will be like a net all over Zimbabwe with prayer. With a powerful anointing, the women first and men following. I see ancient thrones coming down, reconciliation between black and white, the spirit of racism which goes back further down to the tribes. I will use Zimbabwe like a jewel; she will help feed the world with beautiful produce. God will break the curse that came through civil war . . . the curse will be broken. I know nothing about Zimbabwe. The land will produce beautiful beef. New factories will be built. Zimbabwe has the ministry of reconciliation that reunites the African people. The anointing of reconciliation will be all over Zimbabwe. Do not be afraid of the change. Although it looks like you are going backwards. I have a plan for you. Satan thinks he is advancing but I will expose wickedness at high levels. Do not be afraid. Satan will try to bring war; this army will be used to stop war and bloodshed. A treaty will be written with other nations. Zimbabwe will be used like Switzerland to bring the healing of nations to break ancient things. Your nation came through trickery, but God will restore it. You will be given a piece of land, a beautiful place to pray. You will build a place to watch and pray. It will be like a compound with a place to sleep. The Annas will give their lives for intercession. Senior citizens will have places to stay and give their time to pray day and night." (Prophecy given by Cindy Jacobs in Guatemala City, Guatemala on October 30, 1998. Sent to us via e-mail from Zimbabwe.)

When I get a letter or e-mail like this, my heart breaks. Here are good people full of love for truth serving God in a dark place that are having to deal with the churches being inundated with Charismatic insanity. It seems so unfair to me that the great Evangelical or Classical Pentecostal missionaries would have to deal with voodoo spirits from the pagan religions on one hand and Jezebel spirits (same as voodoo) from the church world on the other hand. Much of what I do is out of love for the unsung heroes among our pastors, missionaries, and lay leaders around the world. They are my champions and I believe they are the Lord's choice servants.

The prophecy given about Zimbabwe is an excellent example of the insane ideas coming from Cindy Jacobs' distorted mind. The world is headed toward Armageddon and its darkest hours of human history, and these "Dominion Theology" thinkers are prophesying lies instead of warning for men to turn to God in repentance. Instead of winning souls for the coming Christ, they are building armies for the coming Antichrist. This woman's prophecies are the most blatant expressions of Satan's dark lies preparing for his false Christ I have yet to read. Let's read now a message she spoke in a church in England. The name of the church on the web page was St. Andrews' Church, Chorleywood.

This prophecy is truly bizarre. "And the Lord would say I'm renewing ancient covenants. I'm calling together ancient kingdoms. I'm the ancient of days. I'm doing a new thing in Europe. I'm going to release from this conference and even in the coming days a new anointing for Europe. I'm calling back to ancient times when I stirred my people to take Jerusalem I'm calling out my warriors and my war horses forth." (Europe Awake! Prophecy, St. Andrews Church web site.)

I’m not sure it’s that simple.

1. GOD really HAS used some very odd birds . . . certainly flakey birds in some respects and most certainly sinful birds as we all are . . . GOD HAS CHOSEN TO DO THAT. And HIS SIGNS HAVE FOLLOWED some such characters doings.

2. And, there have been some with some awful mixtures . . . I don’t understand that. I know some folks have been through more refiner’s fires than others and that the ministries of those who’ve been purified most are more pure, indeed. Why God has chosen to use some who’ve been far flakier than I’d have chosen, I don’t know. Is He that hard up for candidates? I don’t know.

3. I think Copeland has been one of the more authentically Christ-like. It’s his cohorts who’ve been more over the line, imho.

4. I’m still not sure I’d want to line some of the folks up and claim them as brothers . . . yet God seems to still, even increasingly, purify and use them. So who am I to throw rocks.

5. Claiming it as all from satan through false prophets doesn’t work—PER THE CRITERIA SCRIPTURE SETS FORTH—to wit: Most of these folks affirm that Christ came in the flesh and the other basic doctrines of the faith. They sound and mostly act as authentic believers in a list of ways. Flawed, even sinful . . . yes . . . as are the folks in our mirrors.

6. Some of the old time Pentecostals were quite flawed yet God poured healings and other demonstrations through them. GOD DID! NOT satan. GOD DID. HE CHOSE TO. ALMIGHTY GOD. He often does not play by our script. I don’t pretend to understand all that. I just know it’s true.

7. McPhereson had authentic Holy Spirit breathed miracles, IIRC. As did Branham and a list of others with unsightly flaws. Rail at their sponsor—God, if you will.

my 2 cents.

I don’t feel remotely clear on the points you’re trying to make besides the fact that the idiot satanic liberals are trying to blow smoke stacks of smoke up the collective rears of the nation and the planet.

PLEASE KEEP IT UP.

That should hasten God’s lessons on the matter.

. . . though likely . . . only the teachable will be paying attention to His lessons . . . though He does have the capacity to get anyone’s attention . . . should He decide it’s worth the priority.

I don’t know, Quix. I love your posts, read them voraciously, but I cannot accept that Aimee Semple Macpherson was of the Lord.

She was a drug addict, had countless affairs, possibly an abortion or two, and faked her own kidnapping to get out of admitting to a months-long sex romp in a motel, then she died of a drug overdose.

Did you ever see Jack Benny (I think, or maybe one of the other Jewish old-time comedians) being interviewed about her? He told this story that she invited him in to her huge mansion, told him what a great way to make money it was, then drew him to her bed where they had sex for the next day...while he was married. She sent her chaffeur to get him numerous times for the next few months to have sex again, and never once said anything about Jesus, salvation or Christianity.

How can THAT be a woman of God?????

And Branham claims to be the the one true prophet of our times, to where his adherents were almost as bad a cultist mentality as Miller and HGW with the SDA.

There are no "redemptive deposits of anointing", whatever that expression signifies, upon certain places today.

Chris Roseborough has played extensive clips of some of these people on his program. (It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.) Not Cindy. but others of that ilk. When they get going they don't make any sense -- it's just rambling. Third order monkey-typing, phrases dumped out en masse, hoping that some of it is credible enough that someone will buy it.

It is an extremely serious thing, to claim to be speaking God's words.

It’s been decades since I read anything of substance about McPhereson. You could well be right.

Was she 4 Square? And Ellen White was Adventist?

I just know some folks God has used mightily have been incredibly sinful and flawed. I don’t understand about all that. I just know it’s true.

One case in point . . . He’s used me on occasion.

Thanks for your kind words.

Yeah but I could have said all that stuff.

“Certainly she’s right that God would have HIS KIDS PROSPER even in this coming economic utter collapse.”

Therefore people who don’t prosper are obviously not His kids, right?
