I don’t know, Quix. I love your posts, read them voraciously, but I cannot accept that Aimee Semple Macpherson was of the Lord.

She was a drug addict, had countless affairs, possibly an abortion or two, and faked her own kidnapping to get out of admitting to a months-long sex romp in a motel, then she died of a drug overdose.

Did you ever see Jack Benny (I think, or maybe one of the other Jewish old-time comedians) being interviewed about her? He told this story that she invited him in to her huge mansion, told him what a great way to make money it was, then drew him to her bed where they had sex for the next day...while he was married. She sent her chaffeur to get him numerous times for the next few months to have sex again, and never once said anything about Jesus, salvation or Christianity.

How can THAT be a woman of God?????

And Branham claims to be the the one true prophet of our times, to where his adherents were almost as bad a cultist mentality as Miller and HGW with the SDA.

It’s been decades since I read anything of substance about McPhereson. You could well be right.

Was she 4 Square? And Ellen White was Adventist?

I just know some folks God has used mightily have been incredibly sinful and flawed. I don’t understand about all that. I just know it’s true.

One case in point . . . He’s used me on occasion.

Thanks for your kind words.
