Yes, I absolutely am a pre-Tribulation-Rapture believer. I think this present war in Gaza is serving to further cause the nations of the world to turn against Israel and to crystallize, so to speak, which nations will stand with Israel and which nations will not.
But Im sure, by all of the protests, that it will make it easier in the future for other nations to gather against Israel after the rapture.
Bingo.
That’s what I thought.
I don’t even doubt mine! :)
That is very true.
the best Star Trek TV of the past 20 years was Enterprise. My favorites being ‘Carbon Creek’ and the 2 part ‘Through a Mirror Darkly’ the Andorians being the best newly rediscovered alien race most notably ‘Shran’.
though what I am really chompin on the bit to see the new Movie...if it wasn’t for the damn writers strike it would have been out on Christmas. Now I must wait till May.
“Their military is without parallel.”
Somebody’s been smoking something illegal.
Rev 20:8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
However, this occurs after the millenium, a thousand years after the 2nd coming of Christ:
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Rev 20:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
Satan is released after being bound and then the Gog/Magog war happens.
This matches up with the reference to the Gog/Magog war in Ezekiel:
Eze 38:2 "Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Eze 38:8 After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.
They're dwelling safely because it's been the millennium
Eze 38:11 You will say, 'I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates'
They're unwalled and peaceful because people have been living in peace and safety for a thousand years.
This event:
Rev 20:9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
match up with these events:
Eze 38:16 You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes
Eze 38:22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
The Incarnation, Atonement, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ are downright trivial compared to this, right?
The rapture has no foundation in scripture , either pre or post...

Yes this is true!:)
oops, sorry for the multi post LOL
What a herbert you are.
When did the millenium start??? And when does it fnish???

There are many problems associated with interpreting today’s headlines as fulfilling Revalations, as attested to by centuries of such attempts.
It ignores the admonition that “No man knows the hour or the season”.
It pretends that all of the evil is external and ignores our own sins.
Does the author really believe that the West will escape the wrath of God?
1. In the Ezekiel invasion there are several allies mentioned and they are limited in number while others stand in opposition. In the campaign of Armegeddon (discussed in Rev.) all nations are united against Israel without exception.
2. The Ezekiel invasion comes from the North. The Armageddon campaign comes from the "whole of the earth".
3. The purpose of the Ezekiel invasion is to take a spoil (Ez. 38:6). The purpose of the Armageddon campaign is to destroy the Jews.
4. There is protest against the Ezekiel invasion while there is no protest against the Armageddon campaign as all nations are involved.
5. The Ezekiel invasion is destroyed through "convulsions of nature" (hailstorms, earthquakes, etc.). The Armageddon campaign is destroyed by the personal return of Jesus Christ.
6. The Ezekiel invasion is destroyed on the mountains of Israel. The Armageddon campaign is destroyed in the area between Petra and Jerusalem.
7. The Ezekiel campaign takes place while Israel is living securely in the area. The Armageddon campaign takes place while Israel is in flight and hiding.
It is really fascinating to read Lamsa’s 1936 translation of that passage in Ezekiel. I know he is much criticized but when I happened to read it many years ago it was a jolt.
