Regardless the debate on eschatology, we know that through faith in Him, He provides for all things.
Even amongst scholars, a good grasp of eschatology only comes after a good foundation in the other doctrines in Scripture. That is one reason why eschatology comes in the rear chapters of most rigorous systematic theologies.
Psalms 2, 110, Daniel 7, and Ephesians 4 and Hebrews 1 provide significant guidance regarding the Session of the Son of God and when the seals are broken after which He sits on the throne of David forevermore.
Pretrib, premil believers tend to interpret those passages literally, while preterists tend to spiritualize the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of heaven. Pretrib, premil recognizes there are things happening today in preparation for Him opening those seals and although having an inheritance, has not yet been placed on the throne.
By remaining in fellowship with God through faith in Christ, He continues to grow us through faith in Him to be prepared to receive the crowns He has predestined for us.
144,000 Jews that are sealed.
I believe Jesus was talking about the disciples in that verse.
The Bible tells us about "a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands." (Rev. 7:9) "Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, 'Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from? And I said to him, 'Sir, you know.' So he said to me, 'These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb." (Rev. 7:13-14)
The rapture occurs before his return after the tribulation period. That’s when the millenial reign begins. Jesus does not return to earth immediately after the rapture.
Not according to the words of Christ. He being the Word from the beginning has foretold us all things, and those prophets recorded the happenings that would be played out again. As a matter of fact even what is going on these days has been foretold.
Christ is recorded to 'out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:
'Spiritually' speaking who is the king of Babylon.... remember the word Babylon means 'confusion'. Who is to play the role of the king of Babylon where in the people are sent once again unto 'his' captivity if they do not know who he spiritually is? Daniel under the king of Babylon recorded what God told him Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, 'O MY Lord, what shall be the end of these things?'
9 And he said, 'Go thy way Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice (Christ) shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty day.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.'"
Now the end has not yet come and these words are to those who wait unto the end wherein that type of king of Babylon sets up his desolation.
Now Christ even quotes Daniel in Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the LORD had shortened those day, no flesh should be 'saved': but for the elect's sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days.
So those days Daniel gave have been shortened.

I am sorry for the multiple posts my antique computer apparently has a mind of its own.
if there is a ping list add me to it.
I agree.
Jesus Himself isn't enough for some folks. We have yet to fully appreciate and act upon all that our Lord achieved in His FIRST coming, and some folks are already checking their watches and looking for the exits!
Then throw out everything else Jesus said as irrelevant because He was always talking to His disciples.
Tribulation? Yes. Rapture? No. The very fact there is no rapture may be one of the reasons men will see the things occur and curse God. The doctrine of the rapture is not scriptural. There’s an abundance of scriptural evidence to support Christians being here for the tribulation.
I remember Mindy.
Pam Dawber RULES!
(what ever happened to her?)
There is nothing in the Bible about them being played out again. Literal ancient Babylon was long gone by the time the NT was written. Everyone knew that. And so we can find no verse in the NT that speaks of a resurrected, future literal Babylon. It only exists in the futurist fantasy interpretation.
'Spiritually' speaking who is the king of Babylon....
There is no king of Babylon because there is no Babylon. If you want to spiritualize all the prophecies, thats fine by me, but you might want to think about the implications.
Now Christ even quotes Daniel in Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
What verse from Daniel is Jesus quoting in Mark 13?
One does not have to be a memeber of the LDS Organization® to read ANYTHING in the Bible; but, by being one, the UNDERSTANDING of the Bible is very difficult.
They have already condemned Israels cast lead operation.
huh?
