**In many Catholic homes (especially Italian ones), it’s not Christmas Day that is for giving presents to children, but the Feast of Epiphany, when the gifts are given in a way related to the Magi. **
Do you exchange gifts at Christmas or on the Epiphany?

Is this why people were walking on my street with candles last (friday) night ?

Thanks, again, Salvation.
This year, I did a couple of flower arrangements for Christmas using those pre-selected bouquets from the florist. I thought that the chrysanthemum was an odd choice of flowers for a Christmas arrangement, but it makes complete sense now.
Hope that this isn't some florist's fable concocted to justify the use of these long-lived flowers.

We are having a party after 5:00 Mass on Tuesday. Everyone goes down to the parish hall for a potluck. All the tables are decorated with manger scene centerpieces.
It is fun to be counter-culture. Thank you Lord.
