Along with St. Basil the Great and St. Gregory Nazianzen.

Lest anyone be confused by the article from the 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia, +GREGORY OF NYSSA, of course, wrote in Greek, not Latin. Indeed there is no reason to believe that he ever learned any Latin.

His affinity for Origen lead him into Origenist heresy but he repudiated it and thus is venerated as both a saint and a great doctor of The Church.
