Prendergast had informed his priests of the change last August, and said “a number” were not happy about it. Some expressed concerns that the archdiocesan liturgical commission was not consulted. The Church isn't a democracy. Get over it. I don't get why people have a problem with kneeling. My archdiocese never changed from it being the norm. Those who don't kneel are considered the oddballs.
