well, wouldn’t He have to have been born AFTER June 17, if the wise men told Herod, “Where is the King of the Jews, for we have seen his star in the East?” See Matt. 2:1-7.
The wise men likely didn’t appear before Herod until many months — if not a year or two — after Christ was born.
