There was a time, not so long ago, that FR discouraged profanity in general. As a result, it didn’t occur to me, to discourage it from the outset.
So, please pardon me for any breach of decorum, regarding the use of profanity.

Provide a source for reference, please. If what you say is factual, then what is the purpose of S. R. 511, the topic of this thread?
The whole thing has an odd odor about it, in hindsight.
It appears to me, that “we” were going to get a president that breaks down citizenship requirements, one way or the other. It’s interesting, that they both advocate breaking down citizenship requirements in other ways, too.

Obama needs to prove without a shadow of a doubt that he is a natural born citizen (..... and I don’t beleive that he is).

Furthermore, Nixon has always been tagged by the lefties as the perpetrator of the Viet Nam war; I wonder what percentage of lefties under 50 would know that John F. Kennedy started that war and Lyndon Johnson escalated it. Nixon was trying to extract us from that war as victors not losers; our courageous Congress stopped the funding and we lost for that reason. Obama would want the same result in Iraq.
The resolution was an attempt by Democrats to preempt the "natural born" issue.
They have known for a long time that it might come up and be a problem.
Hillery has a copy of his Birth Certificate and that is why all the recycled Clintons are being named.
(Being blackmailed is preferable to what happened to Ron Brown and others.)
I tend to agree; Senate Bill 511 IMO is a useless piece of paper much like passing a resolution to recognize Groundhog Day. There is the Constitution after all and that is what the issue is all about.
Even though Obama is a “Constitutional Lawyer” - a phrase used to describe an out of work lawyer - it would seem that he may have run his BC by some law professors and likely they must have concluded he could muscle his way through any legal issues that might occur.
This would also be good in the news threads. I don’t think anyone else has made the very valid points about this Resolution 511, well, I’m sure they have but not as clearly. I guess I understand that this was originally in the CS Monitor. It is very well written and informative.
Maybe if we pray, make sacrifices, this Birth Certificate matter will work for the good of the Christ Savior on earth. I mean there is clearly a chance of evil and real danger for this country. Riots is another possible result but those who voted for him and the Dim party should have thought of that already. It is their burden.
The author was pretty clear in suggesting that it was only useful for providing The Great Oh with a means of sliding past the 'born outside of the USA' stipulation.
We are no longer a nation, and not any longer citizens if we do not follow the US Constitution.
I for one intend on praying for Obama, however if he’s not eligable to become President, then as a natural born citizen I have the right to #1. Not obey any law he signs which is immoral, #2. Not obey any law he signs which is un-Constitutional!
If there is any once of doubt about his elegibility to become President, even if he’s allowed to serve (I won’t really consider him “President”, but Leader or some such term-we conservatives better come up with a legal definition/term). However when he does rule on grounds, I constitutional grounds, I will be bound to by the Bible, and then US, State Constitutions to obey those laws.

I have posted a similar observation and agree with you completely. It is all about images. Obama is going to extreme measures to look presidential and to assume authority that has not yet been given him officially. I believe this is so that people see him already in the role of president and so that many would be unwilling to even consider denying him the office.
Never forget that David Axelrod, the man who’s company created the fauxman Obama, is an accomplished astroturfer. Look that up at wikipedia if you haven’t read about it. This crap we’re enduring now is aimed at extorting the affirmative action position of president for the ‘much beloved’ half-balck man.

BINGO!!! Yet the reason we have these Constitutional procedures is just for a situation like this...when we’re being scammed in collusion with the Federal government and the media.
