Well that’s not what the article says. It said homosexuals cannot receive communion.
That is because that’s what the news paper wants you to think.
Most “journalists” don’t have a clue what the Catholic church teaches much less what religion is all about.
The MSM makes the Church out to be cruel and hurtful.
The rules are the same whether homosexual or heterosexual. No sex outside of marriage, period.
The question I pose to you is, how would a priest know that a person is a homosexual? Unless that person is openly gay, there is no way.
Same with a heterosexual having pre or extramarital sex. Unless it is blatant, no one knows.
Those who want to openly live this lifestyle, yes, can and should be denied Holy Communion.

This is simply common sense. The longer they are allowed to pursue this course of self destruction, the more damage control will be needed.
