Halloween (All Hallows Eve) is the Eve of All Saints Day. Therefore All Saints' Day Prayers are the most appropriate prayers for this feast. However, since Halloween is used for so many bad purposes (far different than the harmless, fun, Halloween traditions), we have included these Halloween Prayers for good to conquer over evil. Check out David Morrison's article, Christians and Halloween: Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?, for a moderate and Catholic perspective on Halloween. Again, these Halloween Prayers are Christian in outlook, specifically Catholic and Orthodox. Dear God, guide the hands of those voting in order to keep the children of the future safe and protected from abortion also.

Hallowe'en - Eve of All Saints - Suggestions for Reclaiming this Christian Feast
Great post Salvation. Thanks.
I have been praying all day about this day. It is on a Friday - no school the next day - kids staying out later. Tensions across the country are high. Frustrations are high...especially in the urban areas. May God keep us from evil.
**May God keep us from evil.**
Amen!
There are some good prayers in there; don’t you agree?

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
My little one refused to go to any house that had a “No Yes on 2” sign.
That’s the Stem Cell issue here in MI.
Taught her right!
We have a death initiative on our ballot here in WA (Oregon style physician assisted suicide). Interestingly enough, those in favor of it tend not to advertise that fact. Gee....I wonder why....
LOL!!! REALLY!!
“Um Grandma, we have something to tell you....”
We had a home football game so a lot of the kids were there.
I was so proud of my granddaughter today. She’s 15 and in 9th grade, her economics teacher was going on lovingly about Obama today in class and then asked her who she would vote for if she could vote. She told him McCain.
He actually told her he was surprised and a little disappointed and wanted to know why she would vote that way.
She started with abortion and how sinful that was and then went on. She even had talking points that I hadn’t talked about with her, it is suprising how engaged she is. The teacher actually said that he was proud of her knowledge but now she doesn’t like him at all.
I would like to kick him in the butt because this should never have come up and she should never have been singled out but I’m proud that she wasn’t cowed and spoke her piece, even knowing that most of her classmates are in love with 0.
Good for your daughter and I agree with you about the teacher!
That’s great!
Check out this story, it’s disgusting.

“I would like to kick him in the butt because this should never have come up...”
No kidding. When I went back to school after I retired, I found myself in a class with a lefty professor who attempted to brainwash the kids with his, “erudite” ahemmmm, speechafyin’.
That didn’t last long. Every class needs to have a retiree in it to confront these people.
Do complain after the school year ends. The teacher was inappropriate in discussing his political views and in putting your daughter on the spot by doing so.
She has guts. Good for her.
That teacher is an idiot!
Good for your granddaughter!
