Are witches real? Of course they are. Are they skinny old women with green skin, pointy chins and warts on their noses, who cackle over cauldrons? Of course not. Do they attend an academy called Hogwarts, play a form of hockey on their broomsticks and battle mythical beasts? Is Samantha, a pretty middle-class suburban wife with magical powers and a gaggle of kooky and spooky family members, a witch? Of course not. All of that is an attempt to make us believe that there are not really such things as witches.

No, I agree. Perhaps I should have put “philosophies” in quotations as well.

Yeah, that’s true, the devil has an ugly face, he has to try and hide it somehow.

Fantasies?
These are biblical references. You've never heard of the Witches of Endor? The Demon Legion?

A Catholic Bishop named Sheen was once on a plane during Lent. The attendant asked him if he wanted to eat, he replied: No,its Lent I think I'll skip this meal. There was an attractive young lady sitting next to him and she said: Yeah, I'll skip the meal too. And Bishop Sheen said: Oh!, Catholic too and fasting for Lent? No she said; I'm a witch and I'm fasting for abortions. She then went on to give him an education in the ways of witches and how they do things in reverse so to speak to obtain evil ends.
This is a true story.

Not believing in the New Testament, I don't believe Jesus stole some pigs and cast them over a cliff.
Appeals to devils, witches, goblins and non-homosexual fairies arise only within the human mind while the universe in its goodness, tuned so that human life can manifest such nonsense, goes on.

witches are lonely people, who are desperately seeking attention.
They also weight the same as duck.

Actually in the Bible, Lucifer was the best looking Angel.
Heard a joke about a man picking up a woman hitchhiker one dark night. They started talking and she told him she was a witch. He didn't believe him, asked her to prove it and he turned into a motel.

Where and what did that get him?

OK, but suppose for a second that demons
do exist. Then filling people's heads with vain superstitions so that we either:
- Puff up our pride with illusions of power to manipulate these fictitious phantasms to our own design or
- Become terrified of these fantasies and look for even more superstitious ways to protect ourselves from them
sounds just like something they'd do!
