(Catholic Caucus) Holy Face Devotion for a McCain/Palin Victory

I would like to recommend this devotion for a McCain/Palin victory on Nov. 4th.

This Spring after hearing about California propostion 8 to amend the California Constitution which would recognize marriage only between a man and a woman I came accross the above website (THE DEFENDERS OF THE HOLY NAME OF GOD). At that time it was not favored to pass by about 5-6% I believe.

I was inspired by the promises which Jesus revealed for those who would practice this devotion. Particularly number 6:

"As in a kingdom they can procure all that is desired with a coin stamped with the King's effigy, so in the Kingdom of Heaven (that means on earth too!) they will obtain all they desire with the precious coin of My Holy Face".

As I believe the family is the bedrock of society I began to practice this devotion as described at the site last Spring for the express purpose of victory for Propostion 8 (except those concerning the Holy Face Cross, I wear The Cross of St. Benedict). I think its passage is now in site God willing!!!

I am now also practicing this devotion for a McCain/Palin victory. If the Holy Spirit moves you, I hope you will practice it too!

I wish I could post the picture of the Holy Face from the web site!! Maybe someone could help me out and get it posted with the Golden Arrow Prayer beneath it?

Don’t forget fasting- that makes the prayer much more effacious.

The rosary and the divine mercy chaplet should also be daily recited. Adoration would help too. The adoration room at my church was packed during the 3rd debate; I’m sure many were interceding for him.

Remember in the book of Esther, her cousin said that her people would pray and fast? Didn’t David pray and fast when God accused him of murder? The Israelites always prayed and fasted to get back into God’s good favor.

I can’t stress how important it is do perform this small sacrifice.

The eyes, nose, mouth, ears and mind should also fast along with the belly, there are always little things we can do without in order to make our prayer more efficacious.

dictated by Our Lord to Sister Mary of St. Peter

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.

After receiving this prayer, Sister Mary of St. Peter was given a vision in which she saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus delightfully wounded by this "Golden Arrow", as torrents of graces streamed from It for the conversion of sinners.
