This isn’t about politics.
It is about a priest taking a position in defience of the church he has vowed to support.
Wow! That was fast. I’m liking the new spines that so many of the bishops are getting.
Children should have the right to be raised by their biological mother and father.....That is the ideal...has always been the "most perfect" and "most inclusive" and "complete" method of teaching a child how to live in a society that respects EQUALLY men and women.
By having formations that eliminate one of the sexes is exclusive and sexist. All societies that have embraced homosexuality have been ones that have treated women as breeding objects only and as second class citizens and/or have eliminated any morality in connection with sexual behavior.
Logic follows: How can you claim anything is "wrong" if you say that the nihilistic, deadly, fecal playground is fine. That defies logic and would lead to a society with no sexual boundaries--anything is fine--even your dog.
Another point: You could say this is a Catholic point but it is also a scientific point....You should always teach children the "truth" or as close to the truth as possible...that should be the goal of education. In referring to a sexual disorder as normal is a lie. To tell a child that Heather has two mommies is a biological lie. To tell a child that a man is giving birth is an outright lie.
Last point, the Bible contains a philosophy of Love--You confuse the word Love with Lust. Also, you have to learn to control your instincts to live in a society. "When pagan civilizations ruled the world, homosexuality and pederasty were widely practiced and accepted." Thank God for the Judeo-Christian influence on Western Civilization which condemned the pederasts and sexual orgies as dehumanizing and destructive to the family unit.
SICK if true. Do you have a link to a story about this or is this something you heard?
Did you know that most priests in the Greek Church are unmarried, because they could persuade women to share their relative poverty? We have fewer priests because 1) we live in a hedonistic society and 2) Catholic families have fewer childen to “give” to the Church.
